Prof. CHANG Hsin-Kang

Professor CHANG Hsin-Kang is a world-renowned expert in biomedical engineering. He was the Founding Dean of the School of Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Dean of the School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, and President of City University of Hong Kong. He was also named by the Government of France to be Chévalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur, and was awarded a Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government. He has served in various public offices, including as Chairman of the Cultural and Heritage Commission of Hong Kong.

 

 

Mr. LIU Changle

Mr LIU Changle is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Satellite He is also a visiting professor at a number of mainland universities, and has been appointed to the board of directors of Nanjing University, Tongji University and Huaqiao University. He is the Chairman of the College International Advisory Board by the City University of Hong Kong’s College of Business. In 2010, he was awarded a Silver Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government.


 

 

  Dr. Paul C. Pribbenow

Dr. Paul C. Pribbenow is the 10th president of Augsburg College. (Augsburg educates students to be informed citizens, thoughtful stewards, critical thinkers, and responsible leaders.) He serves on Board of Directors of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, on the National Campus Compact Board of Directors, etc. In his role as a leader in Minnesota Private College Council (MPCC), he has continued to enhance collaboration between Augsburg College and UIC ever since the inception of our college.


 

 

 

Mr. WANG Meng

Mr. WANG Meng is a famous writer and an Honorary Vice Chairman of the Chinese Writers Association. He served as Minister of Culture of China, as Chairperson of the Committee for Learning and Cultural and Historical Data under the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as President of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and in other positions. He has been a professor, a visiting professor, an honorary professor and an advisor at many universities. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature in 2000. He has visited UIC as guest speaker in 2012 and 2015.
