President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey as well as UIC’s Honorary Fellow, Prof Max Lu Gaoqing, explored collaborative opportunities of student exchange, summer programmes, graduate applications and more during his visit to UIC on 28 August.

Guests also included Vice-President External Engagement Patrick Degg as well as University Secretary and Legal Counsel Sarah Litchfield.

They were welcomed at the President’s Lodge by UIC President Prof Tang Tao, Vice President Prof Zhang Cong, Associate Vice President Prof George Wei, Dean of the Division of Business and Management Prof Stella Cho, Dean of the Division of Science and Technology Prof Huang Huaxiong, Assistant to President as well as Head of President and College Office Ms Ashura Lam, Director of Four-Point Education Coordination Office Ms Jennifer Lin, and Assistant Director of International Development Office Ms Li Mei.
